The Student Profile is your central view of each individual EL student in Ellevation, bringing together demographics, test results, services, goals, forms, and more in one place.
The Student Profile is made up of the following tabs:

Header
The Student Profile header appears on every page of the profile. It displays key information about the student — including name, grade, EL status, home language, and teacher — along with their most recent English Language Proficiency (ELP) scores and levels.
From the header, you can also manage student Groups and generate Reports and Parent Letters. To learn more, see:
Demographics
The Demographics tab contains detailed data about each student, including basic demographic information, statuses, key dates, and program flags. This information can be imported from your Student Information System (SIS) or added manually in Ellevation.

Schedule
The Schedule tab contains students' current course schedules, typically including subject name, teacher, and course code. This information can be imported from your SIS or added manually in Ellevation.

Test Results
The Test Results tab contains students' historical English Language Proficiency (ELP) scores — including annual assessment and screener scores — as well as historical standardized test scores. Test results can be imported from your SIS or official assessment files. ELP scores can also be added manually in Ellevation.

Can Dos/Descriptors
The Can Dos/Descriptors tab describes what students can do at their current and successive ELP levels in each language domain, based on their most recent ELP assessment scores.
ℹ️ Note
Can Dos/Descriptors are not available in all districts. If your district does not have Can Dos/Descriptors configured in Ellevation, this tab will not appear.

EL/LEP Services and Programs
The EL Services and Programs tab contains students' current and historical EL Services and Language Program enrollments. EL/LEP Services are documented manually in Ellevation. Language Programs may be imported from your SIS or added manually. The list of EL/LEP Services and Programs available in Ellevation is configured by your district's Ellevation Administrator.

Testing Accommodations/Designated Supports
The Testing Accommodations/Designated Supports tab contains students' current and historical Testing Accommodations assigned for standardized assessments. Testing Accommodations assigned in Ellevation should address students' needs as English learners — separate from any accommodations they may receive through other services. Testing Accommodations are assigned by the EL team. The lists of Standardized Tests and corresponding Testing Accommodations are configured by your district's Ellevation program administrator.

Access to Testing Accommodations/Designated Supports requires Ellevation Platform. If you do not see this tab, check with your Ellevation Admin.

Classroom Modifications/Instructional Supports
The Classroom Modifications/Instructional Supports tab contains the Instructional Supports currently assigned to students for classroom use. Instructional Supports help ELs access grade-level learning without changing the standards they are working toward — they may help students understand content, complete assignments, develop their English proficiency, or feel included and comfortable in their classes. Classroom Modifications are assigned by the EL team. The list of Classroom Modifications in Ellevation is configured by your district's Ellevation program administrator.

Goals
The Goals tab contains students' current and historical language Goals and their progress history. Goals can be selected from the Ellevation Goalbank — which includes goals aligned to your state's English language proficiency model — or custom goals can be assigned. Goals are assigned and progress is tracked by the EL team.

Forms
The Forms tab contains digital teacher input forms and reclassification/re-evaluation decision forms that have been assigned to, or submitted by, educators serving students with EL history. Many Ellevation program administrators set up Forms to assign automatically to classroom teachers for students who meet defined criteria at key points throughout the year. Forms can also be assigned on an ad hoc basis from the Student List or Student Profile by members of the EL team.

Forms are not available in all districts. If your district does not have access to Forms in Ellevation, this tab will not appear.

Notes
The Notes tab contains historical Notes added about students. Notes can be added by members of the EL team as well as classroom teachers who appear on a student's schedule.

Documents
The Documents tab contains district-approved Documents uploaded for EL students. Documents can be uploaded by members of the EL team as well as classroom teachers who appear on a student's schedule.
ℹ️ Note
Access to Document Storage requires Ellevation Platform. If your district does not have access to Document Storage, this tab will not appear.

Course Grades
The Course Grades tab contains students' historical course grades, including grading period, grade level, course name, course subject, and grade received. Course Grades are imported from your SIS.
ℹ️ Note
Not all districts import Course Grades into Ellevation. If your district does not import Course Grades, this tab will not appear.
