To narrow your list to people who belong to a particular subgroup in your district, use the Filters at left. Some Filters analyze information about the user, such as Account Type. Others analyze what the user has done in Ellevation, such as Number of Logins.
Once you apply User Filters, your list will only show users whose information in the corresponding User Fields column meets your Filter criteria.

- Select the appropriate option(s).
- Click Done.
- To continue narrowing your list, click AND and repeat the steps above.
- Users must meet the requirements of all Filters with AND between them in a Filter set in order to appear on your list.

Group Users by Like Characteristics Using User Charts

To group your User Chart:
- Click the Group By button at the top left of your Chart.
- Select the User Field you want to group by.
💡 Quick Tip
To focus on just the information you care about, apply one or more Filters before adding a Chart. In most cases, you will want to filter to users with an Account Status of Active before charting. For example, if you want to chart by Number of Logins, you may want to focus only on Teachers associated with one or more EL, since you would not expect logins from Teachers who are not associated with any ELs. To do this, add a filter for Teachers and a filter for an EL association.
