A Dashboard Message appears at the top of every Dashboard for all Ellevation users in your district, giving you one reliable place to share announcements, reminders, or year-round guidance. As an Administrator with permission to set Homepages for others, you can add or update this Message at any time.
ℹ️ Note
The Dashboard Message applies to your entire district and is managed by an Ellevation Administrator. If you don't see Ellevation Settings, check with your Ellevation Administrator.
Add or Edit the Dashboard Message
- Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner of Ellevation.
- Select Ellevation Settings, then Homepage Dashboard.
- Under Dashboard Settings, click into the Dashboard Message field.
- Enter your message. Use the formatting toolbar to apply Bold, Italic, or Underline, to add a bulleted or numbered list, or to insert a link.
- Click Save. Your message will appear at the top of every dashboard in the district.
ℹ️ Note
The Dashboard Message uses a rich-text editor. You can apply bold, italic, and underline, create bulleted or numbered lists, and add links. HTML and image embeds are not supported.
How the Dashboard Message Displays
Once saved, the Dashboard Message appears in a banner at the top of every dashboard in the district, above the dashboard tiles. All users see the same message regardless of Account Type, school, etc.
