Set Up Automation of NWEA MAP Test Result Data Files

To set up automation, complete the preparation steps below.

  1. Complete the NWEA Data Sharing Agreement (DSA):
    • If your district allows DocuSign: Reach out to your Ellevation Partner Success Manager (PSM) about setting up automation of NWEA data files. Your PSM will send you a Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) via DocuSign. Complete the agreement as instructed.
    • If your district doesn't allow DocuSign: Complete this Data Sharing Consent Form (DOCX). Email the completed form to your Ellevation PSM after completing the remaining steps below.
  2. Set up an Ellevation profile within your NWEA portal by following these step-by-step directions.
  3. Share the new NWEA Portal username and password with the Ellevation team:
    • We recommend uploading this information in a text file via Box or to our SFTP server for maximum data security. If you need SFTP credentials, reach out to your Ellevation PSM.
  4. The Ellevation team will then connect to this profile via our NWEA API implementation and export data from this user in the NWEA portal.
  5. Once automation setup is complete, Ellevation will notify your district via email.
  6. New MAP scores will be exported from NWEA nightly.
